What does the Bible say about Victorious Living?
ll Cor 2:14 - "Now thanks be to God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place."
Victory Defined
Conquest; the defeat of an enemy in battle; a gaining of the superiority in war or combat.  Victory supposes the power of an enemy or an antagonist to prove inferior to that of the victor.  Victorious living is when every part of your life is influenced and directed by God, yielding the outcomes God desired.
Opposing forces to Victorious Living
Death versus Life; John 10:10 - "The thief cometh not but for to kill, steal and destroy..."; "... but I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly."
Total Victory includes: Spiritual, Mental, Social, Physical and Financial Victory
Spiritual, John 3:7 - "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again"
Mental, Mark 5:15 - "And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid."
Social, Matthew 22:39 - "And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."
Physical, l Peter 2:24 - "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."
Financial, Ecclesiastes 5:19 - "Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God."

l Timothy 6:10 - "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced them selves through with many sorrows."

What is my Financial Responsibility as a Christian?
Deuteronomy 8:17-18 - "And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.  But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day."
  • God Owns Everything!
  • I Own Nothing!
  • I am only a Steward!
Understanding Tithing
Tithing is a basic biblical principle given by God, and when acted upon in faith, it will bring great rewards.  The word tithe means the tenth portion or one-tenth.  It is one-tenth of all legal income (earned or unearned).  The Bible says in Malachi 3:10, "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

The key to receiving the benefits of tithing is this: do not treat it as debt you owe, but as a seed you sow.  Your tithe represents you (your life, your work and your time).  The Bible says, "Where your treasure is, there your hearth be also."  When you tithe you are saying to God, "I put my trust in You as my source and my supply."  When you tithe, you are hooking up to God's divine prosperity plan for your life.
