About the GBBC Founders
In 1994, a few good men met with Pastor Hill to discuss the idea of beginning a Boy Scout program.  Research was done and contact was made with the Boy Scout council office.  A proud tradition was in the making.  Over the years Pack and Troop 46 have grown young boys into men.  We proudly boast of a village of elders centered around the love of God and a mission to shape and mold the men of tomorrow.  Our scouting family consist of a group of dedicated men and women who are trained and experience at delivering the "Promise of Scouting".

Pack 46 Leadership
Over the years we have had several good Cub masters and Assistant who have helped to build a strong foundation.  The current Cub master of Pack 46 is Dea. Horace Tolliver.  Mrs. Joann Buckner will serve as Assistant Cub master and Tiger Cub Den Leader.  The other Den Leaders are Mrs. Brenda Tolliver, Ms. Christy Walker and Mr. Tony Hardaway.  Our Leaders have received the District Award of Merit, Cub master of the Year, Webelos Den Leader of the Year, Order of the Arrow,  Unit Quality Award and various other recognitions.

Scout Committee
Mrs. Virginia Spires has served as our Committee Chairperson for over 15 years; she recently received Chairperson of the year.  Mrs. Roester Cole serves as our Charter Representative.   The committee members are Mrs. Barbara White, Mrs. Ramona Pugh, Mrs. Lillian Watson, Mrs. Dixie Mitchell, Rev.
